There are currently 9 hybrid gas vehicles in our University Fleet. As more vehicle types become available using hybrid technology, the University will increase purchases and utilize hybrids on a larger scale.
Flex-Fuel Vehicles
The University of Utah purchases flex-fuel vehicles that can operate on unleaded fuel and ethanol. There are currently 23 configured as flex-fuel vehicles in the University Fleet.
