Jiong Wang is a student from Chengdu, the provincial capital of Sichuan, China. He completed his Urban Planning undergraduate degree while in China and now has progressed on to study full-time in the Urban Planning Master’s Program at the University of Utah.
Coming from the large country of China with a substantial population, Jiong Wang is deeply concerned about the importance of sustainability. He works with Dr. Craig Forster gathering data and building models to simulate campus growth, resource use and energy consumption. He feels that he is benefiting from curriculum focused on sustainability and practical experience gained in the US. He enjoys playing soccer as a hobby and is fluent in both Chinese and English.
